One type of cancer, called bladder cancer, forms in the lining of the bladder. Blood in the urine, pain during urination, and frequent urination are all signs of bladder cancer. However, these are not sure symptoms and could be caused by an infection or bladder stones. The extent of bladder cancer can be measured in stages. The further along the cancer has progressed, the higher the stage. Different stages of cancer need to be treated with different methods of treatment. For highly progressed cancer, where traditional treatments do not work, a patient could try an alternative cancer treatment for bladder cancer.
