A lot of women seem to get acne in their twenties, even when they never used to suffer from it as a teenager. I knew this woman, really pretty too, who had a big problem with it. She tried all sorts of things - skin care, antibiotics, and even acne birth control pills. I guess the birth control pills helped with other areas of her life too

My sisters used to take birth control pills since they were in their teens. I was always a bit worried about those extra hormones. I prefer natural things, and anyway, there are often so many problems with women’s hormonal treatments, and you never find out about them for years after the fact. Hopefully they’ve gotten a bit better now.
