The Amazing Hoodia Gordonii
This amazing plant, called Hoodia Gordonii, grows in the South African desert, amongst the tribes of Namibia, Botswana, and Angola. It looks like a dill pickle, but with spines on it. It grows slowly, and takes four or five years before its pale purple flowers bloom. Only then can it be harvested. Studies show that this species is a natural appetite suppressant, and has the effect of making you feel full, even when you have eaten only a few bites, or have not eaten at all. How Hoodia works is that it sends messages to the brain, telling it that the stomach is full. In turn, the amount of food (especially unhealthy food) you take in is lessened, resulting to a slimmer, healthier you!
