On every deployment that my husband has been on during the last 17 years of active duty, he has carried an American flag with him. We have been able to dedicate each flag to different family members when he returns from war. It is an awesome way to thank you for supporting my family while I was away and I love knowing what those flags saw in action and hopefully protected my husband. Now that we are facing retirement I would like to get a bunch of decorative flags to give away to the team when we leave as a tradition that they may be able to pass on in their future deployments.
