I have heard so much talk about green this and green that, that I am not sure what it really means to be green. Now I am beginning to realize that it may pertain to me. I too want to cut the extension cord that connects me to our power company. All I have been needing is a way to do it. We are addicted to electric lights and hot water it seems and just going dark will not work. there is a book available on line, Earth 4 Energy, that seems to have some many of the answers that I am searching for.
