The best market letter is the shortest

Why is it that so many writers take so long to say so little? My own writing style has always been short and to the point. I was always taught to say what I mean in the shortest possible time. When I read a market letter, I don’t want to spend minutes and minutes sifting through material that has no bearing on the subject at hand, or takes too long to say it.  Have you seen these online ads for internet marketing services? They drone on and on for page after pag, saying the self same thing in as many different ways as the author can dream up. And then, when you want to find how much this brilliant service costs, it takes even more time to find the answer. I detest people who steal time from me. I only have so much of it to spare, and I do not like others taking it away from me in little pieces or slivers.
